What if my insurance doesn’t cover the cost?
If needed, the Clinic will arrange a payment schedule with you that works for you. Most insurance providers recognize the importance of mental health and do provide at least some coverage. However, unless other arrangements are made, co-payments will be expected at the time of service.
What will happen if I make an appointment?
You will meet with a Therapist or Psychologist and discuss the full history of the problem. He or she will also want to have permission to talk with your medical doctor. To better understand the problem, psychological testing may be involved, but in many cases the diagnosis and a treatment plan can be made from the first couple of sessions. No treatment is undertaken without your full understanding of what will happen, how it may make you feel, and the expected results of the treatment.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment length is quite variable. Much depends upon the motivation of the individual. For some, treatment may take only a few sessions, for most though, it tends to take longer than that.

What is Post-Traumatic Stress?
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD) is anxiety that dominates a person’s life following a very bad experience that was perceived as life-threatening. Depression, strong fears, nightmares, and avoidance are all symptoms of PTSD. It is highly treatable, but the sooner treatment begins following the trauma, the easier treatment is.
